Dr. Jatin P. Ambegaonkar is a Professor in the School of Kinesiology at George Mason University in Virginia.
Professionally, Dr. Ambegaonkar holds credentials as a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Occupational Therapist. His dedication to the field of dance medicine and science is evident through his role as the founding co-director of the Sports Medicine Assessment Research & Testing (SMART) Laboratory. Also as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Dance Medicine & Science, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our conversation.
Notably, Dr. Ambegaonkar is also a co-editor of the textbook “Research Methods in the Dance Sciences,” which is great guide to advancing the field of Dance Medicine and Science.
