Welcome to Dance Med Spotlight, where we talk about all things dance medicine. On today’s episode, join host Alyssa Arms and guest, Dr. Rebekah Griffith, PT, DPT!

Our Guest: Rebekah Griffith

Dr. Rebekah Griffith, PT, DPT is a physical therapist in the ED (emergency department). Rebekah believes that physical therapy should not be a luxury and safety nets such as the ED are essential. As part of this she teaches PTs to practice at the top of their scope within the Emergency Department and beyond.

Our Topic

Today’s episode covers a variety of topics, including:

  • When someone should go to the ED
  • What can I do to prevent someone going to the ED
  • How this applies to the dance medicine space

This one definitely has a little different spin from some previous episodes, so be sure to check it out!
