Our Guest: Catherine Vargo
Dr. Catherine Vargo, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS is a physical therapist who has made a career of working with dancers across the spectrum of training & genre. She grew up as a dancer & specifically became a PT to be able to take care of fellow dancers. Dr. Vargo is a senior PT at UPMC Sports Medicine, Physical Therapist Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and consulting PT for Point Park University Conservatory of Performing Arts.
She is passionate about dancers having the careers they want to have and to be able to retire on their terms. She sees her job as a performing arts PT is to support dancers, not change their technique.
