On this episode of Dance Med Spotlight, host Dr. Alyssa Arms, PT, DPT, OCS had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Jenna Loewer, PT, DPT, physical therapist, hip specialist, founder of On Pointe Wellness and Rehab, and author of “Hip Impingement to Hope”. Dr. Loewer has dedicated her career to helping dancers and active individuals navigate hip impingement and labral tears, often helping them avoid surgery and return to the activities they love.
As a former dancer herself, Dr. Loewer always knew she wanted to stay connected to the dance world. After becoming a physical therapist and gaining experience working with dancers, she founded her own practice in Northern Virginia. What began as a niche focus quickly grew into a thriving clinic serving dancers and non-dancers dealing with complex hip issues.
