We are happy to offer a safe & effective alternative to the traditional physical therapy experience using our telehealth platform.

We want to be able to keep everyone healthy while still helping you with things like:

  • post-operative care and rehabilitation,
  • pain management,
  • recovery from injury,
  • exercise prescription,
  • rehab options due to delayed elective surgeries,
  • and more.

If you’re dealing with pain or injury and are concerned about going to the doctor’s office, urgent care, or emergency room because of the Coronavirus pandemic, we can also help you!

  • We provide solutions to manage your pain, while avoiding pain medications, injections, or surgery.
  • You do not need a referral from your physician.
  • We screen you for other concerns, even remotely.
  • We make recommendations if imaging (like x-rays or MRIs) is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Telehealth

How does telehealth work?

You access our scheduling site – the same one that we’ve been using for years. Now, you’ll have an opportunity to choose from the Telehealth category. You’ll pay for the session you select, based upon session length. In your confirmation and reminder emails, you’ll see a link that takes you to the video-based system. Connect with your provider via HIPAA compliant video or voice call from their computer, tablet, or phone, and you’re ready to go!

What kinds of care are provided?

In most cases, we can use this platform as a screening tool, for follow up appointments, wellness check-ins, exercise progression, and even for initial evaluations and treatments.

You will still receive the same impeccable quality of care but it will be from the comfort and convenience of your own home or office. You’ll work one-on-one with our very own Dr. Alyssa!

What do I need for telehealth?

You need a device that is capable of video and has a microphone, with reliable access to the internet. Otherwise, you just need enough space to move around in, ideally in a quiet, private space.

What are my scheduling options?

Most typically, remote evaluations take 30-60 minutes, while follow-up sessions are 15-30 minutes, although they may go longer.

How does billing work?

All billing is based on 15-minutes increments, and is completed via secure billing through Square.

We are also able to see some patients through workers’ compensation on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss your options.

Are there any exclusions or exceptions?

  • We can only treat people who are physically located in Colorado, whether you are a Colorado resident or a visitor to our lovely state.
  • We do not contract with any private insurance companies.
  • Unfortunately are unable to see patients with Medicare for any physical therapy services, although there may be some other options available. This is purely due to current regulations surrounding Medicare and telehealth, making it impossible to bill Medicare for the services and making it illegal to accept self-pay for those same services.
